    This entry-level program is designed to prepare students for the CompTIA A+ Certification with IT Technician designation. This credential validates the latest skills needed by today’s Computer Support Professionals and is the skills benchmark that provides an entry point into an IT career. It is highly recognized for excellence in computer hardware and operating systems covering skills such as installing, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing, and preventative maintenance, with additional elements of soft skills and security.

    Computer Service Technician
    This program prepares students to deal with the problems they may encounter when servicing Personal Computers. It provides in-depth knowledge of computer hardware. Students will have practical hands-on experience in troubleshooting computer problems and assembling a computer. This program prepares students to take the current exams for CompTIA A+ certification with IT Technician designation, Network+, and Server+ certifications. Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.

    Help Desk Support Analyst
    The Help Desk Support Analyst Diploma program provides students with the necessary skill and knowledge to support users of computer systems and software applications. It provides in-depth knowledge on evaluating, configuring, and troubleshooting communications hardware, software, and operating systems. It also introduces the skills necessary to effectively provide remote customer support, and deal with issues Help Desk Support Analysts may encounter on the job when addressing customer requirements. This program prepares the student for several industry certifications. These are: CompTIA A+ certification with IT Technician designation, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), and the Help Desk Analyst (HDA) certifications. Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.

    Help Desk Support Analyst
    The Help Desk Support Analyst program provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to support users of computer systems and software applications.     Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
    The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator credential is the premier certification for professionals who administer and support the Windows 2003 platform and Microsoft server software.

    Network Administrator
    This program provides students with the necessary skill and knowledge to plan, install, and provide routine control over and manage exceptional situations in relation to quality communications network services in an information system. It provides in-depth knowledge on evaluating communications hardware, software and transmission service alternatives against changing business requirements; maintaining links with network suppliers; monitoring network performance; providing support for systems; localizing and rectifying faults in networks and handling non-routine user/customer problems; and providing expertise and practical assistance in delivering service that complies with statutory and other standards, as well as strategic and tactical plans.

    PC Support Specialist
    This program prepares students to deal with the problems they may encounter when supporting Personal Computers in an office environment. It provides in-depth knowledge of both computer hardware and software, and prepares students to take the CompTIA A+ certification with IT Technician designation, Network+, and Server+ certification exams. Students will have practical hands-on experience in trouble shooting computer problems and assembling a computer. Successful students may choose to progress to advanced qualifications such as MCSA and MCSE, which are in high demand. Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.

    PC Support Specialist
    This program prepares students to deal with the problems they may encounter when supporting Personal Computers in an office environment. It provides in-depth knowledge of both computer hardware and software and prepares students for the CompTIA A+ Certification with IT Technician Designation exams. Students will have practical hands-on experience in troubleshooting computer problems and assembling a computer.

    The objective of this program is to provide the student with opportunities to acquire and apply the knowledge of business concepts and office skills to meet the demands of today’s business. Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.

    Business & Office Accounting Clerk
    The objective of this program is to provide the student with opportunities to acquire and apply the knowledge of business accounting and office skills to meet the demands of today’s business.

    Computerized Accounting
    The objective of this program is to provide the student with the opportunity to acquire knowledge of business concepts, as well as gain the necessary computerized accounting and office skills. This program provides graduates with the necessary skills to maintain complete sets of books, keep records of accounts, verify the procedures used for recording financial transactions, and provide personal bookkeeping services. Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.

    Payroll Administrator
    This program provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to perform payroll administrative responsibilities in the payroll department and to be able to apply payroll legislation. Students become familiar with basic payroll practices and procedures, and are eligible to apply to the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) for Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification. In addition to accounting and payroll expertise, students gain skills and experience in word processing, spreadsheet applications, telephone communication skills and performing a job search.

    Payroll Supervisor
    This program provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to provide supervision in the payroll department. Students become familiar with basic payroll practices and procedures, and are eligible to apply to the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) for Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification. In addition to accounting and payroll expertise, students gain skills and experience in business correspondence, office procedures, business supervisory skills, and performing a job search. Its objective is to expose students to a vast array of business knowledge, management and administration skills, and practical tools that will assist them in dealing with situations within a business-related career.     The Entrepreneurial Business Applications Diploma program prepares students with the skills needed to operate a small business whether it is home-based, a franchise, or a consultancy. Graduates of this program obtain the necessary skills to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate their operations in order to provide goods or services to consumers, and ensure the quality of these goods/services and the satisfaction of their clients.     Entrepreneurial Business Applications
    This program prepares students to enter and progress in the field of Entrepreneurial Business Applications. Upon graduation, the student will have the knowledge to meet the challenges of today’s highly competitive world with the skills required by employers or to operate their own small business.

    Executive Office Assistant
    The Executive Office Assistant Diploma program prepares students to confidently enter the executive assistant field. This program provides graduates with the necessary skills to perform a variety of administrative duties in support of managerial and professional employers, while addressing the challenges of today’s workplace. Each graduate will attain a sense of achievement while ensuring a successful career. Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.

    The Call Centre Customer Service Representative Diploma program offers individuals the opportunity to acquire the skills required by many companies that specialize in customer service and outbound marketing services, and to provide skills to facilitate upward movement in their chosen profession. Its objective is to expose students to a broad range of marketing knowledge and processes, administration skills, and practical tools that will assist them in dealing with situations within a marketing related career.     This program provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to create graphics and Flash animations for the Web, and to plan and design compelling interactive Web sites. It provides in depth knowledge of how to use Macromedia Dreamweaver and Notepad to create Web pages. In addition, the program introduces students to HTML and JavaScript programming, and thereby provides them with a great degree of control over the appearance of their Web sites and skills that are in demand by Web design companies. Students also gain skills and experience in using industry standard graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia Fireworks to create, edit, and optimize graphics for the Web.
