Arts - Multimedia / RecordingDJ Arts and TechnologyThe DJ industry is a rapidly growing, dynamic industry. Trebas Institute’s DJ Arts & Technology program is the first comprehensive diploma program of its kind to be offered in Canada.
DJ Arts & Technology trains students to become successful entrepreneurs in the DJ industry. Students analyze and simulate the day-to-day operation of a DJ enterprise, including marketing, development of promotional material, the performance agreement contract, and the various techniques of showmanship required for a successful performance.
Students also study the following subjects: Music Fundamentals, Music Styles and Research, Copyright and Music Publishing, Audio Production, Equipment Setup, Turntable Mixing and Scratching Techniques, Controlling an Audience, and Career Development.
